Quèsaco l’edge computing ?

Edge computing is a computing paradigm that involves processing data at the edge of the network, thanks to local resources and on a smaller scale. Essentially, edge computing allows for reducing communication times by avoiding the transfer of data to the cloud, whose processing centers are remote. Georgios Bouloukakis, a researcher at Télécom SudParis, tells us more about its advantages and disadvantages. He also talks to us about the future of this computing approach, although still very experimental, between fragmented solutions or Computing Continuum.
